Registration:

Training activities at National Academy training sessions are not open to the general public.  Attendance is limited to FBI and National Academy graduates.  Participants must have paid their 2025 National and Local Chapter NA dues. Any other law enforcement and/or criminal justice personnel who wish to participate in the training conference must obtain prior approval from Special Agent Robert Gunderson, the National Academy Coordinator for FBI, Kansas City, and/or Scott Munsterman, FBINAA Kansas/Western Missouri Chapter President. Spouses will be welcome at most sessions of the Conference and FBI National Academy selectees are eligible to register.

 On-site Check-in for the conference will be held at the Bluemont Hotel on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 7:15 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. in the Pre-Function Room on the top floor. Registration badges and training program materials will be issued on-site at the time of registration with the conference.

*Our Chapter underwrites retiree expenses, meaning the cost of attendance exceeds retiree registration.  Active members who are retired from law enforcement but still hold any employment are expected to pay the same registration cost as active members with law enforcement authority.

 

Registration fee includes training, training materials, hospitality room, Tuesday dinner; Thursday luncheon, Thursday evening banquet, and attendance prizes.

Refunds:

Records are maintained on all advance registration fees.  In the event of an emergency cancellation, your refund will be issued upon receipt of written request.  In this regard, it is imperative you notify Chapter Secretary Steve Cox as soon as possible to avoid any payments of a function or meal commitment.  Notifications of cancellations received too late will result in that amount being deducted from the participant's refund in order to avoid charges to the organization.

It is also the participant's responsibility to notify the hotel of any cancellation as soon as possible to avoid the loss of their room deposit.  This notification is to be handled directly by the participant and the Bluemont Hotel, 785-473-7091.

Hotel Reservations:

Room reservations are to be made directly with the Bluemont Hotel (785-473-7091) no later than March 25, 2025, instructions for reserving rooms via phone call or online are below.  Rates are $106.00 (plus tax) per room, per day, single or double occupancy.  To secure the $106.00 rate you must make your reservation before March 25, 2025.  Rates will increase significantly after that date. Complimentary Breakfast is provided from 6:30am-9:30am at the Bluemont to registered hotel guests in the 1st floor Breakfast Area.

Hospitality Room:

A private hospitality room will be provided in the King Executive Suite during the conference.  All members and registered spouses/guests are welcome.  The Hospitality Room will be available during the following periods:

                        Tuesday, April 22, 2025                     8:30 p.m. to Midnight

                        Wednesday, April 23, 2025                4:00 p.m. to Midnight

                        Thursday, April 24, 2025                    9:00 p.m. to Midnight

Breakouts:

At noon on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, there will be breakout sessions in the form of a golf tournament. 

       Golf Tournament information: Registration fee is $55.00 per person for a 4 person scramble.  Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers plus flag prizes. Golf will be held at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, north of Junction City. A practice round (tee times) has been arranged at Colbert Hills, is scheduled on Tuesday, April 22nd, payment is due to the course on arrival.
